An article about the topography of Alexandria in the original Greek Alexander romance (known also as Pseudo-Callisthenes), written by a German classical philologist Adolf Ausfeld (1855–1904). Ausfeld was especially interested in the history of development of the Alexander romance, mostly of its Greek versions, and he wrote several important works on that subject. Year of publishing: 1900
