Сажетак: У својим раним збиркама Љубомир Симовић се у значајној мери угледао на поезију Милоша Црњанског, али је у приказу Итаке и коментара, објављеном на насловној страници Видика 1960. године, упутио оштру – на идеолошким ра- злозима засновану – критику не само новим књижевним делима великог писца него и његовим политичким опредељењима, па и личним моралним особинама. У раду се стога, кроз анализу есеја и садржаја преписке, испитују чиниоци на којима је почивао Симовићев парадоксални однос према Милошу Црњанском, који се реализовао у контрадикторном додиру поетске адорације и идеолошке негације. Посебна пажња посвећена је расветљавању стражиловских и видовданских елеме- ната у Симовићевом поетском опусу, али и откривању колико се овај песник, не- гативно осликавајући портрет Милоша Црњанског, ослањао на ставове тадашњих водећих књижевно-идеолошких арбитара – Мирослава Крлеже и Марка Ристића.

Summary Ljubomir Simović, in his early collections, was to a significant extent inspired by Miloš Crnjanski’s poetry. However, in the Itake i komentara [Ithaca and Commentsy] review, published in the magazine Vidici [The Horizons] front page in 1960, he directed a sharp criticism based on ideological reasons, not only of the great writer’s new literary works but his political determinations as well including his personal moral qualities. With the text “Dnevnik o Crnjanskom“ [“The journal about Crnjanski“], the young poet originating from Užice not only joined a series of critics who reminded the public of the unforgivable political mistakes of the Mitigations [Seobe] author, but also revealed quite obviously the extent to which his understanding of literary works, as well as Miloš Crnjanski’s, life and personality, along with undisguised creative admiration poetic gestures, obscured by the false shadow of the ruling communist ideology. Through the analysis of the essays and the content of the correspondence, this paper, hence, examines the factors on which Simović’s paradoxical relationship towards Miloš Crnjanski rested. It was realized in a contradictory touch of poetic adoration and ideological negation. The special attention is drawn to elucidating the Stražilovo [Stražilovo] and Vidovdan [Vidovdan]-related elements in Simović’s poetic oeuvre. Additionally, emphasis is placed on discovering how much this poet, negatively portraying Miloš Crnjanski, relied on the opinions of the main literary and ideological arbiters of that period such as Miroslav Krleža and Marko Ristić
