Предмет рада је проучавање језикa и говорa глумачки оживљене лутке у програмима за децу ТВБ. Циљ рада је био да одреди највише уметничке домете језика и говора лутке у програмима за децу ТВБ. Коришћене су дескриптивна и прескриптивна метода, и техни- ка анализе садржаја. Узорак истраживања је био луткарски програм за децу ТВБ од 1958. до 1990. године. Одређене су посебности језика и говора луткарских ликова: одређење ос- новном особином лутке, акциона природа, лаконичан дијалог, кратке реплике, редукована синтакса, поетичност, метафоричност, експресивност, екскламативност и емоционалност. У раду се дају примери узорног језика и говора лутке из серија највиших уметничких домета: На слово, на слово Душана Радовића, Судбина мачка Чарлија Александра Поповића и Луди речник Боре Ћосића. Проучавање истиче да стваралаштво Душана Радовића, у погледу је- зика и говора луткарских ликова, нема премца у књижевности за децу на српском језику и представља њену јединствену ризницу.

Summary The paper researches the language and speech of puppet in Television Belgrade’s pro- grams for children. The study was based on the hypothesises: puppet language and speech have special qualities; the highest artistic standards of puppet language and speech in Serbian have been achieved in Television Belgrade’s programs for children. The sample of researchwere all puppet programs produced by Television Belgrade until 1990. It was established that both puppetry texts written for television in Serbian and puppet language and speech were not seriously studied. The paper identifies specific features of puppet language and speech: the basic characteristic of a puppet defines its language and speech; the puppet’s speech depends on its actions and is connected to its movement; puppet dialogue is precise and concise, and its cues are precise, concise, and short; puppet syntax is reduced and there are no descriptions; the language of puppet is poetic; the symbolism of puppet is the most realised in its verbal dis- course; puppet language is primarily characterized by metaphors; puppet speech is expressive, exclamatory and over emotional. The research concluded that the highest artistic standards of puppet language and speech in Serbian were achived in three series of Television Belgrade’s programs for children: Starts With the Letter, Starts With the Letter by Dušan Radović, The Fate of Kitten Charlie by Aleksandar Popović and Crazy Dictionary by Bora Ćosić. The paper presents examples from puppet scenarios in these series that demonstrate the best specific fea- tures of puppet language and speech. In terms of artistic value and the richness of the language and speech of the puppet characters, Dušan Radović’ body of writing for television is without equal in Serbian literature for children. The prosodic characteristics of Radović’s puppets are exceptional and they are interpreted by exceptional Serbian actors at the highest artistic level. Puppet language and speech in the best series for children on Television Belgrade represent a unique treasury of Serbian language.
