Speech Culture In The Curricula Of The Faculties For Teacher Education
У првом циклусу образовања учитељи имају задатак да развију говорне вештине ученика тако да они несметано могу да учествују у комуникацији. Да би одговорио на ове захтеве, и сам учитељ мора поседовати знања о говорној култури. Стога је основни циљ рада био анализа курикулума педагошких факултета у Републици Србији како би се увидело у којој мери будући учитељи имају прилике да усвајају ова знања у току својих основних студија. Показало се да су курикулуми педагошких факултета по питању наставе говорне културе често неусклађени и не прате програм наставе и учења за први циклус образовања, који својим садржајима и исходима прописују да ученици активно усвајају особине доброг говора.
Summary The paper looks at the status of speech culture instruction in the curricula of the faculties for teacher education. A developed speech culture and the ability to express oneself orally have an important role not only in public, but also in all spheres of life. The development and improvement of speech culture is not a short-term process, but something that we learn and work on almost throughout our lives. As in many other cases, education has a very important role in this. During the first cycle of education, according to the teaching program, teachers have the task of developing students’ speaking skills so that they can participate in any communication situation. To respond to these demands, the teacher himself must have knowledge of speech culture. Therefore, the main goal of the paper was to analyze the curricula of pedagogical faculties in the Republic of Serbia to see to what extent students, future teachers, could acquire knowledge about speech culture during their undergraduate studies. The research has shown that the curricula of pedagogical faculties regarding the teaching of speech culture are often not aligned and do not follow the teaching program for the first cycle of education, which prescribes with its contents and outcomes that students actively acquire the qualities of good speech. Although it can be challenging, we believe that speech culture should be included in the curricula of pedagogical faculties, which would respond to the needs of future teachers, who will have an impact on improving the language expression of future generations.
