Virtual Reality − Comparative Analysis Of Hybrid Teaching Models
Virtual reality, based on a computer-generated concept of immersive- ness with an intelligent component, provides opportunities for experiential learning in which personal experience and activity take precedence in acquir- ing knowledge and developing practical skills, which contributes to changing existing educational paradigms. The aim of the paper is the systematization of existing knowledge in the function of building an efficient hybrid teaching model supported by virtual reality. The paper uses the case study method. The analysis includes three interdependent subsystems: technical, pedagogical and content. The results indicate that the virtual reality system creates a stimulating teaching environment that has numerous advantages, and particularly stand- ing out are the provision of conditions for the challenging situations simulation and the study of abstract phenomena through the active participation of sys- tem users. Based on the conclusions of the research, a methodical model is pro- posed for the implementation of virtual reality in hybrid teaching, which has the potential to strengthen the introduction of innovative changes in the real educational context and achieve more efficient learning outcomes.
