Apstrakt. Analiza u ovom radu razmatra implikacije nedavne promene kreditnog rejtinga Srbije u investicioni rejting na ekonomsku perspektivu zemlje. Kao ključni pokazatelj ekonomske stabilnosti i pouzdanosti u očima investitora, poboljšan kreditni rejting otvara nove mogućnosti za privlačenje stranih direktnih investicija, smanjenje troškova zaduživanja i unapređenje pristupa međunarodnim finansijskim tržištima. Analizom relevantnih ekonomskih pokazatelja, kao što su bruto domaći proizvod, kamatne stope i nivo stranih investicija pre i posle promene rejtinga, istražuje se kako ova promena utiče na investicionu klimu i ekonomski rast. Takođe, u fokusu su izazovi sa kojima se Srbija suočava u pogledu održivosti ovog rejtinga, uključujući potrebu za strukturnim reformama, političku stabilnost i globalne ekonomske uslove. Zaključci pružaju uvid u moguće strategije koje bi Srbija mogla usvojiti kako bi iskoristila ovu promenu i podstakla dugoročni ekonomski razvoj.

Abstract. The analysis in this paper examines the implications of Serbia's recent credit rating upgrade to investment grade on the country's economic outlook. As a key indicator of economic stability and reliability in the eyes of investors, the improved credit rating opens new opportunities for attracting foreign direct investment, reducing borrowing costs, and improving access to international financial markets. By analyzing relevant economic indicators such as gross domestic product, interest rates, and the level of foreign investment before and after the rating upgrade, the study explores how this change affects the investment climate and economic growth. Additionally, it focuses on the challenges Serbia faces in maintaining this rating, including the need for structural reforms, political stability, and global economic conditions. The conclusions provide insight into possible strategies that Serbia could adopt to leverage this change and promote long-term economic development.
