Apstrakt: U ovome radu analiziraju se zeleni investicioni fondovi i pruža pregled njihovih navažnijih karakteristika, vrsta i specifičnosti u poslovanju. Zeleni fondovi predstavljaju finansijske posrednike koji ulažu raspoloživa finansijska sredstva investitora u ekološki održive i odgovorne investicije. U radu se porede performanse zelenih i tradicionalnih fondova i analiziraju ključne prednosti, kao i izazovi kod ulaganja raspoloživih sredstava u ovaj tip investicija. Iako su ovakve vrste ulaganja još uvek u začetku očekuje se dalji rast ovog tržišnog segmenta sa rastom svesti investitora o održivom pristupu poslovanju i ulaganju.

Abstract: This paper provides analysis of green investment funds and an overview of their most important characteristics, types and specifics in operations. Green funds are financial intermediaries that invest available financial resources in environmentally sustainable and responsible investments. Performances of green and traditional funds are compared while key advantages, as well as challenges, when investing available funds in this type of investment, are analyzed. Although these kinds of investments are still in their beginnings, further growth of green funds’ market segment is expected with an increase of investors’ awareness of a sustainable approach to business and investing.
