Opis (eng)

ABSTRACT Radioactivity occurs due to natural processes or as a consequence of various antropogenic activities such as nuclear power plants, military industry, etc. Food chain is one of the most important ways of contributing to the total radiation dose of an individual, as all types of food contain radionuclides. Continuous control of radioactivity levels in food, and inclusion of such data in publicly accessible databases is of great importance.
