In this doctoral dissertation the efficiency of diflubenzuron and pyriproxyfenwas tested in the formulations of floating granules, pellets, tablets and sinkinggranules, pellets and tablets at a dose of 100 g of diflubenzuron per hectare and 50 gof pyriproxyfen per hectare. Formulations were tested in small and large field tests,and the effectiveness of active substances was confirmed in laboratory tests. Theemergence inhibition effects were monitored on the 1st, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th and 35thdays after treatment in order to determine the best formulation and active substancethat will show the highest efficiency for the longest time.The weakest effects after 35 days in tests in field were shown by the sinkinggranule with diflubenzuron where the mortality of larvae was 34.41% and thesinking tablet with pyriproxyfen 31.88%. The best efficiency was provided by thefloating formulations, namely the floating pellets, where the percentage of deadlarvae was 58.20% on the 35th day after treatment.Bearing in mind that these are new formulations that are made from substancesharmless to the environment, they will ensure greater efficiency in controllingmosquito larvae in the field in the coming period. By reducing the number ofmosquito larvae, there will be a better quality of life for people, and less risk to theirhealth, taking into account diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, both in humans andin animals.

U ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji ispitivana je efikasnost diflubenzurona ipiriproksifena u formulacijama plivajućih granula, peleta, tableta i tonućih granula,peleta i tableta u dozi od 100 g diflubenzurona po hektaru i 50 g piriproksifena pohektaru. Ispitivanje formulacija je vršeno u malim i velikim terenskim ispitivanjima,a potvrda efikasnosti aktivnih supstanci je izvršena u laboratorijskim ispitivanjima.Praćeni su efekti inhibicije izletanja 1., 7., 14., 21., 28. i 35. dana nakon tretmana kakobi se utvrdila najbolja formulacija i aktivna supstanca koja će najduže pokazivatinajvišu efikasnost.Najslabije efekte nakon 35 dana u ispitivanjima na kanalskim površinamapokazala je tonuća granula sa diflubenzuronom gde je smrtnost larvi iznosila 34,41%i tonuća tableta sa piriproksifenom 31,88%. Najbolju efikasnost dale su plivajućeformulacije i to plivajuće pelete gde je procenat uginulih larvi iznosio 58,20% 35.dana nakon tretmana.Imajući u vidu da se radi o novim formulacijama koje su napravljene odneškodljivih materija za životnu sredinu, one će u narednom periodu obezbeditiveću efikasnost u suzbijanju larvi komaraca na terenu. Smanjenjem brojnosti larvikomaraca, doći će i do boljeg kvaliteta života ljudi, a i manjeg ugrožavanja njihovogzdravlja imajući u vidu bolesti koje se prenose komarcima, kako kod ljudi tako i kodživotinja.
