The new concept of the serbian language schoolbooks made to stimulate giftedness in students
Нова концепција уџбеника граматике у функцији подстицања даровитости код ученика

Сажетак: Предмет овог излагања биће комплет уџбеника посвећен новој концепцији уџбеничког приступања језичким темама (Српски језик за други, трећи и чет– врти разред основне школе), одобрен од Министарства просвете, науке и техно- лошког развоја Р. Србије. У раду се разматрају методички и лингвистички аспекти те нове концепције. Уџбеници конструктивистички приступају учењу – стимули- шу процесе формирања значења, повезивања знања, активног учешћа ученика кроз решавање проблемских ситуација (Пешић 1998; Woolfolk, Hughes and Walkup 2008; Лазаревић 2001 и др.) – а написани су у форми авантуристичке приче приповедане кроз дијалоге ликова. С једне стране овог разматрања биће анализа мотивацио- них елемената текста, а са друге расветљавање путева разумевања, сазнања и до- живљавања језичких механизама. У фокусу излагања биће специфичности нове кон- цепције у функцији подстицања даровитих ученика. Утемељење овог дела анализе налазиће се у студијама проучавалаца даровитости (Стругар 1988; Драшковић 1998; Јовановић 2012; Маринковић 2018; Поповић, Лазовић, Милосављевић 2016. и др.). Сами уџбеници конципирани су тако да воде читаоца до сазнања о језику кроз контекст, подстичући његову критичку/читалачку писменост и интересовања. Ликови су конструисани тако да афирмишу основне одлике даровите деце, али и да од читаоца смело захтевају поштовање различитости, а подстичу креативност и имагинацију. Уџбеници уједињују садржаје различитих домена искуства и знања ученика на смисаоном плану, подстичући интердисциплинаран и интегрисан при- ступ садржајима и дивергентно мишљење у решавању проблемских ситуација.
Summary: This paper examines the methodological and linguistic aspects of the new concept of Serbian Language schoolbooks written in the form of adventure stories told through dialogues. On the one hand this examination will analyse the motivational elements of the text, and on the other hand the elucidation of the ways linguistic mechanisms are compre- hended, perceived and experienced. The subject of this research will be the set of school- books dedicated to the linguistic themes covered in the 2 nd , 3 rd , and 4 th grade of elementary school (approved by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia). The schoolbooks approach the learning process in a constructive manner – stimulating the formation of meaning, interconnectivity of knowledge, active par- ticipation via situational problem-solving tasks (Pešić 1998; Woolfolk, Hughes and Walkup 2008; Lazarević 2001 et al.). The focus of this deliberation will be the specificity of the new concept and the possibilities to encourage students that are more talented. Foundations of this part of the analysis can be found in the works of those who studied giftedness (Strugar 1988; Drašković 1998; Jovanović 2012; Marinković 2018; Popović, Lazović, Milosavljević 2016. et al.). The schoolbook helps the reader to understand the language through context, by encouraging their critical/reader’s literacy and interests. It can improve the social climate in class. The characters were constructed in such a way to affirm the fundamental qualities of talented children, spark creativity and imagination, and to boldly demand from the read- er to respect diversity. The schoolbook unites the content from different areas of students’ experience and knowledge with a meaningful plan to encourage the interdisciplinary and integrated approach to the content and the divergent views in problem solving situations.
