In this paper, we investigated the categories and constituents of socioculturalcompetence, its appearance in the Russian language teaching system, norms, traditions, and meansof communicative behavior as its significant part. Also we investigated the presence of elements ofverbal and non-verbal communicative behavior in Russian language textbooks, the attitude ofteachers and students towards the textbook itself, and the elements of sociocultural competence thatare represented in it.The theoretical propositions of this work are based on the research results of representativesof the Voronezh School of Communicative Behavior, who developed methods and techniques fordescribing the communicative behavior of the Russian sociocultural community, which can beapplied to the description of the communicative behavior of any linguistic and cultural community.Using qualitative and quantitative methods, we analyzed the curricula for the generaleducation profile of teaching, where we found insufficient development of segments related tosociocultural competence, segments of a common character for all grades of elementary or allgrades of secondary education, in which there are no descriptors for checking adoption socioculturalcompetences. The basic text, the most crucial structural component of the textbook, does notsufficiently include the communicative behaviors of the Russian ethnic-sociocultural community,which are necessary for the development of sociocultural competence. This was discovered throughour analysis of the Russian language textbook. Also, we created two survey questionnaires forstudents and teachers, with which we examined their opinions, attitudes, and experiences about theadoption of sociocultural competence through Russian language textbooks. Both teachers andstudents believe that the textbooks they use in teaching the Russian language do not have enoughadequate content for the acquisition of sociocultural competence.

У овом раду истраживали смо категорије и конституенте социокултурне компетенције,њену појавност у систему наставе руског језика, норме, традиције и средствакомуникативног понашања као њеног значајног дела, присуство елемената вербалног иневербалног комуникативног понашања у уџбеницима за руски језик, и однос наставника иученика према самом уџбенику и елементима социокултурне компетенције који су у њемузаступљени.Теоријске поставке овог рада заснивају се на резултатима истраживања представникаВороњешке школе комуникативног понашања, који су разрадили методе и технике заописивање комуникативног понашања руске социокултурне заједнице, а које се могуприменити на опис комуникативног понашања било које лингвокултурне заједнице.Служећи се квалитативним и квантитативним методама анализирали смо наставнепланове и програме за општеобразовни профил наставе где смо установили недовољнуразвијеност сегмената који се односе на социокултурну компетенцију, сегменти сузаједничког карактера за све разреде основног или све разреде средњег образовања, у којимаодсуствују дескриптори за проверу усвојености социокултурне компетенције. Анализомуџбеника руског језика утврдили смо да основни текст, као најважнији структурни елементуџбеника, не садржи у довољној мери елементе комуникативног понашања рускеетносоциокултурне заједнице, без којих није могуће стицање социокултурне компетенције.Такође, уобличили смо и два анкетна упитника, за ученике и наставнике, којима смоиспитивали њихова мишљења, ставове и искуства о усвајању социокултурне компетенцијепосредством уџбеника руског језика. И наставници и ученици сматрају да уџбеници којимасе служе у настави руског језика немају довољно адекватног садржаја за стицањесоциокултурне компетенције.
