The subject matter of this doctoral dissertation is an organizational and technologicalaspect of the production process in organizations that produce quality vegetable seedlings. Theresearch focuses on the propagation process itself, analyzed from technological, organizational, andeconomic aspects. The general goal was to present a viable model of seedlings propagation in termsof optimally balanced use of modern propagation technologies, from both organizational andeconomical aspects, so that such model could be used in further development of this segment ofvegetable production, be applicable in other vegetable-growing regions and, consequently, contributeto the overall development of vegetable production. In 2020 and 2021 technological and economicmatrices were used to monitor parameters of the propagation technology, as well as quantity andcomponents of direct costs of production of peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, and lettuce. Thesample was based on 282 technological and economic matrices on the same number of agriculturalfarms. Descriptive statistics were performed, and multiple linear regression was applied to predict thetotal coverage margin based on independent variables by production lines and at the farm level within4 production models (three models in protected areas and one model in open field). The research ispartly focused on the production process itself, which is analyzed from the technological andorganizational aspects. Using the methods of chronometry and chronography, the process ofvegetable seedling production was recorded in detail, which was the basis for the use of networkplanning methods, namely PERT methods and PDM methods, which highlighted flexibility inmathematical modeling and modeling capabilities. High profitability in the production of seedlingson large farms in newly formed facilities with modern equipment allows excess production for longproducers, small and medium farms, and producers in the open field, which allows the necessaryspecialization of vegetable production and strong development of the entire vegetable sector, havethe ability to substitute import with domestic production.

Предмет истраживања ове докторске дисертације представљa организационо-технолошки аспект производног процеса организација које се баве производњом квалитетнограсада поврћа. Фокус истраживања био је на самом производном процесу који се анализираоса технолошког, организационог и економског аспекта. У току 2020. и 2021. године крозтехнолошко-економске обрасце праћени су параметри технологије производње, као иколичинске и трошковне компоненте директних трошкова производње за линије производњепаприке, парадајза, краставца, купуса и салате. Узорак је рађен на бази 282 технолошкоекономска обрасца на истом броју пољопривредних газдинстава. Урађена је дескриптивнастатистика и примењена вишеструка линеарна регресија за предвиђање укупне марже покрићана основу независних варијабли и то по линијама производње и на нивоу пољопривредноггаздинства у оквиру 4 модела производње (три у заштићеном простору и један на отвореномпољу). Истраживање је једним делом усмерено на сам производни процес који се анализираса технолошког и организационог аспекта. Применом метода хронометрије и хронографиједетаљно је снимљен процес производње расада поврћа, што је била основа за употребу методамрежног планирања и то PERT методе и PDM методе, а код које се истакла и флексибилносту изради математичког модела и могућности моделирања. Висока профитабилност упроизводњи расада на великим газдинствима у новоформираним објектима са савременомопремом омогућује и вишак производњу за дуге произвођаче, мала и средња газдинства ипроизвођаче на отвореном пољу, што омогућује неопходну специјализацију производњеповрћа и снажан развој читавог сектора повртарства, јер су ценовно конкурентни и имајумогућност да супституишу увоз са домаћом производњом
