Мач духовни, глагол Божји : две хералдичке представе из Славоније

Апстракт: У раду су представљена два сликана панела сачувана у збирци Пакрачко-славонске епархије који нису привукли значајнију пажњу ранијих истраживача, а садрже хералдичке представе важне за познавање овог вида визуелне презентације у српској нововековној религиозној култури. Артефакте је могуће само посредно датовати јер им прецизно порекло остаје непознато, а конзерваторска испитивања над њима нису вршена. У раду је из наведених разлога акценат стављен на њихову идејну и иконо-графску контекстуализацију у оквирима визуелне културе Карловачке митрополије, али и кључних утицајних сфера империјалне и црквено-поли-тичке пропаганде – хабзбуршке и руске.
Abstract: The paper presents two painted panels preserved in the collection of the Diocese of Pakrac and Slavonia that have not attracted any significant attention of the earlier researchers, while containing heraldic depictions that are of importance for the study of this aspect of visual presentation in the Serbian religious culture of the early modern period. The artefacts may be dated only indirectly since their precise origin remains unknown, while conser-vationists’ studies of them have not been carried out. For these reasons, the emphasis of the paper is put on their notional and iconographic contextualisa-tion within the scope of the visual culture of the Archbishopric of Karlovac, as well as the key influential spheres of the imperial and the church and political propaganda – both the Habsburg and the Russian ones.
