Opis (eng)

Abstract This essay concerns the emergence and early stages of conceptual art scene in Serbia during the 1970s. In this text, the notion of conceptual art is understood in its broadest meaning, as a radical break with traditional art forms, and based on the idea of dematerialization of art. Apart from covering well known centres such as Novi Sad (Tribina Mladih) and Belgrade (Studentski Kulturni Centar), the text also considers Subotica where an art group Bosch+Bosch was founded in 1969. The early stages of this scene are inseparable from both Yugoslav and international frameworks of the 1960s and 1970s. The topic is considered with respect to the wider social and political context of Yugoslav socialism. The essay points out certain differences between the scenes in Belgrade and Novi Sad.

Opis (srp)

Pored poznatih centara Novog Sada (Tribina mladih) i Beograda (Studentski kulturni centar), tekst mapira i Suboticu u kojoj je 1969. osnovana umetnička grupa Bosch+Bosch.
