У овом раду анализираћемо проучавања Војислава М. Јовановића Марамбоа усфери усмене књижевности. На корпусу грађе која обухвата докторску дисертацијуовог научника, публиковане чланке о усменој традицији и рукописну грађу о овомпредмету, похрањену у његовом легату у Одељењу за народну књижевностУниверзитетске библиотеке „Светозар Марковићˮ у Београду, Архиву САНУ и АрхивуЈугославије, указаћемо на методологију његовог проучавања, области из народнекњижевности које су биле предмет његовог интересовања и његов допринос у српскојфолклористици.Посебнупажњу обратићемо на Јовановићево проучавањеаутентичностиу фолклору – изналажење плагијата, фалсификата и мистификација у оквиру усменекњижевности.Тим питањем овај научник највишесе бавио када је био на челу Одбораза издавање корпуса народних песама. Његови судови о Етнографској збирци АрхиваСАНУ откривају начела којима се служио током својих изучавања, а која се огледају укомпаративном приступу и филолошкој анализи грађе коју је посматрао, готовоискључиво у односу на Вуков канон и Вукове методе у прикупљању и уређењу грађеиз фолклорног фонда. Осим наведеног, Војислав М. Јовановић Марамбо бавио се иантологијским приређивањем збирки, средњошколских уџбеника, бележењем био-библиографских референци које се тичу и страних и наших проучавалаца, преводилацаи сакупљача усмене књижевности и анализом бочних токова традиције. Несумњиво једа је усмена књижевност у његовим схватањима била најдрагоценији део наше културеи историје, што је и истицао више пута, и којој је посветио заиста највећи део свогпрофесионалног и приватног истраживања књижевности.

In this paper, we will analyze the studies of Vojislav M. Jovanovic Marambo in thefield of oral literature. Based on the corpus of material that includes the doctoral dissertationof this scientist, published articles on oral tradition and manuscript material on this subject,stored in his legacy in the Department of Folk Literature of the University Library "SvetozarMarkovic" in Belgrade, SANU Archives and Archives of Yugoslavia, we will point to themethodology of his studies, areas of folk literature that were the subject of his interest and hiscontribution to Serbian folklore. We will pay special attention to Jovanovic's study ofauthenticity in folklore - by examining plagiarism, falsifications, and mystifications withinoral literature. This scientist dealt with this issue the most when he was the head of theCommittee for publishing the corpus of folk songs. His judgments about the EthnographicCollection of the SANU Archives reveal the principles he used during his studies, which arereflected in the comparative approach and philological analysis of the material he observed,almost exclusively in relation to Vuk's canon and Vuk's methods in collecting and arrangingmaterial from the folklore fund. In addition to the above, Vojislav M. Jovanović Maramboalso dealt with anthological editing of collections, high school textbooks, recording biobibliographicreferences concerning both foreign and our scholars, translators, and collectorsof oral literature, and analyzing the lateral currents of tradition. Undoubtedly, according to hisunderstanding, oral literature was the most precious part of our culture and history, which heemphasized many times, and to which he dedicated the largest part of his professional andprivate research of literature.
