Овим радом настојимо да интегришемо и синтетички расветлимо значајан део књижевноисторијске, интерпретацијске и књижевнотеоријске свести модерних песника-есејиста послератног периода, у оквиру неосимболистичког покрета зачетог педесетих година 20. века првенствено у српској поезији. Многи српски писци и песници добили су своје књижевнонаучно и историјско-поетичко мапирање на пољу неговања књижевне форме есеја. Есејистички прогласи Ивана В. Лалића, Бранка Миљковића и Борислава Радовића нису у досадашњој литератури разматрани у интегралном виду, као ни кроз теоријске погледе, односно (литерарни и естетички) контекст у ком су настали. Самим тим, наш рад је интерпретативно у подтексту посвећен колико њиховом имплицитном поимању есеја или критике, толико и књижевноисторијском и естетичком позиционирању (као и осталих песника који су у својој песничкој, стваралачкој фази неговали валере неосимболизма) у круг тумача књижевности, њених почетака и развојних појава симболистичке модерности. Задржавајући се на целовитим књигама есеја и критика објављених углавном као избор самих песника, због чега смо њихов доживљај целине настојали и да поштујемо, јер је питање самоодабира и самочитања једно од примарних у постулирању есеја у књижевно-естетичку мисао, питање дискурзивног мишљења песника друге половине 20. века искрсло је као незаменљиво у целовитијем постулирању епохе неосимболизма. Поред поезије српског неосимболизма која је своје конституисање доживела у литератури, овим радом настојимо да пружимо скицу специфичног дијалога центра и периферије (нео)симболизма, односно поезије и есејистике српских песника. Сваки у оквирима своје поетике и естетике есеја, и Лалић, и Миљковић, и Радовић баве се основним, агоничним питањима књижевног стварања схваћеног увек као покрет (и простора и времена), као сликање истине и долажења себи уз кључеве књижевног стварања у незаменљивој теорији (ауто)читања.

The aim of this work is to integrate and syntheticly reveal significant part of literary historism, interpretational and theoretical thought of modern Serbian poets in the second half of twentieth century, in the era called neosymbolism. Many poets during the long Serbian history of literature gain their aestehical, historical and poetic shape in the field that means dedication to writing a literary form of a essay. Essayistic programms of Ivan V. Lalic, Branko Miljkovic and Borislav Radovic did not yet get the propper, integral position in the Serbian scientific thought, as though in theoretical meaning of placing their own characters parralel with their poetical writing which came first in the placing gtheir names on the literary map. Therefore, there was a need to structure the large, highly significant filed of modern poet-essayists in two main ways: first to place a context of their writing, and then to place their own thought of selfconsciousness and interpretation through the literature they prefer. That means their aestethic reading of literary time, place, Poet and Poem merge modern poetry in the field that includes the whole history od Serbian poets-essayists, with the main purpose to paint the begining, and the evolving of a epoch of (Europe) symbolism in wich boundaries they first put their voice into. Their dispersive, autopoetic and historical voices guided their own intepretation of totality in literature, in prose and poetry at the same time by organizing their own books of essays, with dynamic, subversive constante of selfintepretation and selfcensouring. The primar goal of this paper is to read the specific dialogue between centre and periphery, between the poetry that gave them the status of classics, and the essays that gave readers the oportunity to point to different, but same values in poetic and aestethic discourses of modern erudites. Each in their poetic system of essays, Lalic, Miljkovic and Radovic left their thoughts on agonic questions of literary creation experienced always as a move, as a coming one to self, with symbolic and real keys in large theory of selfreading.
