The topic of this dissertation is the conception of practical identity in the ethics of contemporary Kantian philosopher Christine Korsgaard. The thesis is examining the idea of practical identity, which is the original contribution of Christine Korsgaard in search of the sources of normativity and the nature of a moral obligation. This dissertation will start from the historical overview of the normativity, following the genesis of the idea of normativity from the perspective of the great traditions that shaped the history of moral philosophy. Afterward, the focus will be on the analysis of the nature of reasons for action and the obligatory nature of the moral norms. The core part of the dissertation will be a detailed analysis of the conception of practical identity and critiques of that conception. This dissertation aims to attest that critiques are not successful in finding an adequate way to refute the conception of practical identity. That is not to say that there are not places in the theory of Christine Korsgaard that are not susceptible to critiques, as this thesis will show

Предмет ове дисертације је концепција практичког идентитета у етици савремене кантовке Кристин Корсгард. Дисертација ће се бавити испитивањем идеје практичког идентитета која представља оригинални допринос Кристин Корсгард у истраживањима извора нормативности и природе моралне обавезности. Истраживање почиње од историјског приказа идеје нормативности, пратећи развој те идеје кроз велике традиције које су обликовале историју филозофије морала. Након тога, фокус ће бити на разматрању природе разлога, али и разматрању обавезности моралних норми. Централни део дисертације ће се бавити детаљном анализом концепције практичког идентитета, као и критика које су тој концепцији упућене. Циљ који би ова дисертација требало да испуни јесте да покаже да критике које су до сада упућиване не успевају да на адекватан начин оповргну концепцију практичког идентитета. Међутим, то не значи да не постоје места у концепцији практичког идентитета која нису подложна критици, као што ће ово истраживање да покаже
