The thesis accomplished scientific aim of the research in the form of scientific description with elements of classification, scientific explanations and scientific forecasts. There is the possibility of applying the results of this research into practice by implementing developed optimal model for resolving the crisis in the period of globalization in small countries, using the latest information technologies and developed software packages for selected optimization methods. Due to the complexity and multidisciplinary character of the research a number of methods was applied, among which we emphasize: content analysis, modeling method, comparative analysis and statistical methods. The method of content analysis was used to collect data on all content from domestic and foreign literature, original internal working materials and adequate sites that relate to this issue. Modeling as a modern method arose from having to connect theory and practice, which aims at finding the optimal management organization in solving crisis situations with emphasis on the political dimension. Comparative analysis is employed to study the organization and management model in crisis situations with a focus on the political dimension, and in selected countries (Sweden, Russian Federation, Switzerland and the United States) and international organizations (UN, EU and OSCE). Based on the results the optimal model has been defined. Statistical method enabled the specific quantification of the performance indicators when defining the optimal model in segments or as a whole.

У раду је остварен научни циљ истраживања у форми научне дескрипције са елементима класификације, научног објашњења и научне прогнозе. Оства- рена је могућност примене резултата овог истраживања у пракси тиме што је развијен оптимални модел за разрешавање криза у периоду глобализације у малим земљама коришћењем најсавременијих информационих технологија и развијених софтверских пакета за одабране методе оптимизације. Због сложености и мултидисциплинарног карактера истраживања примењено је више метода, од којих посебно истичемо: Анализу садржаја, Методу моделовања, Компаративну анализу и Статистичку методу. Метода анализе садржаја коришћена је за прикупљање података о целокупном садр- жају из стране и домаће литературе, изворних интерних радних материјала и адекватних сајтова који се односе на ову проблематику. Моделовање као савремена метода настала је из потребе спајања теорије и праксе, чији је циљ изналажење оптималне организације менаџмента у разрешавању кризних ситуација са тежиштем на политичкој димензији. Компаративна анализа упо- требљена је при истраживању организације и модела менаџмента у кризним ситуацијама са тежиштем на политичкој димензији, а у одабраним земљама (Шведска, Руска Федерација, Швајцарска и САД) и међународним организаци- јама (ОУН, ЕУ и ОЕБС). На основу добијених резултата дефинисан је оптимални модел.Статистичком методом омогућен је конкретан квантитативни приказ индикатора успешности изградње оптималног модела по сегментима или у целини.
