A study of images of Alexander the Great in the ancient Greek, Hellenistic and Roman art, written by Theodor Schreiber (1848–1912), a German classical archeologist, art historian and university professor. Schreiber published widely on Hellenistic art topics and his works weren’t based only on the archeological finds, but also on the philological sources. The book is illustrated.
