A study of two versions of the medieval Alexander romance, written by Alfons Hilka (1877–1939), a German romanist and historian of literature. Hilka was the most active in the field of research of the old French and Medieval Latin literature. Hilka also published many richly annotated editions of important texts of Medieval Latin poetry. The study contains the text of an extended version of Epitome. Epitome is in the 9th century summarized Julius Valerius’ Latin translation of Pseudo-Callisthenes, and it was the principal source of the medieval French Roman d’Alexandre. Studija o dve verzije srednjovekovne Aleksandride Alfonsa Hilke (1877–1939), nemačkog istoričara književnosti. Hilka je bio najaktivniji u oblasti istraživanja stare francuske i srednjovekovne latinske književnosti. Objavio je dosta bogato anotirana izdanja važnih tekstova srednjovekovne latinske poezije. Studija sadrži tekst proširene verzije Epitome. Epitome je u 9. veku sakupio Julije Valerije, latinski prevodilac Pseudo-Kalistena, i to je glavni izvor srednjovekovnog francuskog Roman d’Alexandre.
