A study of the idea of the world empire in the legends and prophecies about Alexander the Great (especially in the Alexander romance), written by a German historian Franz Kampers (1868–1929). Kampers analyzed potential influences of the different legends on the Alexander romance, e.g. the influences of the Jewish-Oriental eschatology, The Apocalypse of Pseudo-Methodius (7th century) and other similar apocryphal works, etc. Year of publishing: 1901
