Govornici i propovednici u islamu su sačuvali društvenu ulogu iz vremena pre islama. Govori pripisivani vodećim ličnostima na početku islama, uključujući i samog Muhameda, zapisivali su i stoga sačuvali u klasičnim delima adaba (obrazovne literature) autori poput Džahiza, Ibn Kutajbe i drugih. Što se tiče prorokovih propovedi, one su sačuvane u literaturi hadisa (tradicije vezane za život i delo Muhameda) i njegovim biografijama. Godina izdavanja: 1718.

Orators and preachers in Islam inherited their social role from pre-Islamic orator. Speeches attributed to leading personalities in the beginning of Islam, including Prophet Muhammad himself, were recorded in manuscripts and therefore preserved in the classical work of adab (educational literature) by authors like al-Jahiz, Ibn Qutayba, and others. Regarding the Prophet`s sermons, they were preserved in the hadith literature and his biographies. Year of publishing: 1718.
