У дисертацији је дефинисана оригинална методологија за избор концепција одржавања склопова и подсистема техничких система. Код ново дефинисане методологије базиране на методологији „Одржавање према поузданости (RCM)“, кораци при избору концепције одржавања су јасно дефинисани одговарајућим оригиналним алгоритмом, што на крају резултује усаглашавањем интервала извођења изабраних концепција одржавања. Резултати „Анализе логистичке подршке (LSA)“ се користе као основа за избор одговарајућих концепција одржавања за поједине елементе, склопове и подсистеме техничког система или њихове модернизације, уколико није могуће дефинисати одговарајућу концепцију одржавања у складу са дефинисаним захтевима за расположивост, поузданост и безбедност датог техничког система. Код „Анализе начина и ефеката отказа (FMEA)“ која се ради у оквиру LSA, по први пут уводи се формирање матрице ризика отказа склопова и подсистема, на основу последица отказа и интензитета отказа, ради избора концепција одржавања. Методологија предвиђа да се концепција одржавања разматра још током развоја техничког система тако да се пројектант техничког система суочава са знатно већим бројем захтевних параметара него што је то раније био случај а у циљу стварања одређених предуслова за ефективније и ефикасније одржавања предметних техничких система. Адекватна примена подразумева да се током фазе употребе техничког система, врши ажурирање LSA и по потреби ревизија постојећих концепција одржавања појединих склопова и подсистема техничког система а након тога и редефинисање програмске шеме одржавања. The dissertation describes the original methodology developed for the selection of the assemblies and subsystems maintenance concepts. Newly defined methodology, based on "Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)", has the steps in selection of maintenance concept clearly defined by the appropriate original algorithm, which ultimately results in harmonization of the execution intervals of chosen maintenance concepts. The results of the "Logistics Support Analysis (LSA)" are used as a basis for appropriate maintenance concepts selection for certain elements, assemblies and subsystems of the technical system or their modernization, if there is no possibility to define the appropriate maintenance concept in accordance with the defined technical system’s availability, reliability and safety requirements. In the "Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)", which is done within the framework of the LSA, the formation of a risk matrix for failures of assemblies and subsystems is introduced for the first time, based on the consequences of the failures and their intensity, in order to select the maintenance concepts. The methodology envisages that the maintenance concept is considered during the technical system development so that the system designer faces a significantly larger number of requested parameters than it was practice before, in order to create certain preconditions for more effective and more efficient maintenance of the subjected technical systems. Adequate application implies that during the phase of the technical system usage, the LSA is updated and, if necessary, the existing maintenance concepts of individual assemblies and subsystems of the technical system are revised, and finally, the program maintenance schemes are to be redefined.
