The study of the problem and the course is predominantly theoretical character, which will theoretically make a determination of classification methods and ways of leadership in political science of XXI century. Pointing out the problems of defining the leadership and differentiation from similar ideas, with a critical review of several important definitions. Special attention is given to the study of segments concepts with which the leadership is often identified, such as managing, leadership and management. Managing will be observed as the target performance of important decisions according to which an organization is directed, and important factors of management will be considered. Through research of different leadership styles Likert four categories were discused - autocratic, benevelent-autocratic, consultative and participatory leadership style. The classification and essential political leadership were examined, according to certain criteria. According to the criteria of content and methods of mobilization, we can distinguish transactional and transformational leadership. In political science, the most of leadership classification are based on Weber 's classification of the traditional, charismatic and rational guidance. Consideration of internal party organization has become a hot topic in political science research. Although the political parties can be classified according to various criteria, it will indicate to the von Baume's classification of parties, and special attention will be focused to the study of the relationship between the leaders of the presidency, the principal, executive and municipal party committee and, of course, membership...

Истраживање проблема и предмета је претежно теоријског карактера, где ће се теоријски извршити одређивање методе и начина класификације лидерства, тј. вођства у политичкој науци ХХI века. Указивање на проблеме дефинисања појма вођства и разликовање од сличних појмова, при чему се даје критички приказ неколико битних дефиниција. Посебна пажња се посвећује сегментима проучавању појмова са којима се вођство често поистовећује, а то су управљање, руковођење и менаџмент. Управљање ће се посматрати као циљно извршавање битних одлука којима се усмерава одређена организација, а притом ће се разматрати и битни чиниоци управљања. Истражујући различите стилове вођства, размотрена су и Ликертове четири категорије - аутократски, беневелентно-аутократски, консултативан и партиципативан стил вођства. Проучене су и битне класификације политичког вођства, према одређеним критеријумима. Према критеријуму мобилизационих садржаја и метода, разликујемо трансакционо и трансформационо вођство. У политичким наукама већина класификација вођства заснива се на Веберовој класификацији на традиционално, харизматско и рационално вођство. Разматрање унутрашње страначке организације постало је веома актуелна тема у политиколошким истраживањима. Иако се политичке странке могу класификовати према различитим критеријумима, указаће се на фон Бајмеову (Klaus von Beyme) класификацију странака, а посебна пажња биће усмерена на проучавање односа између вође, председништва, главног, извршног и општинских одбора партије и, наравно, чланства...
