Предмет истраживања рада је однос Јунгове аналитичке психологије и модерне херменеутике. Основни циљ је да се истраже могуће пресечне тачке између њих и да се укаже на оне аспекте аналитичке психологије који се често занемарују и превиђају. Циљ је и да се кроз фузију хоризоната аналитичке психологије и модерне херменеутике теорија и пракса аналитичке психологије сагледају на другачији начин. Најпре су изложени основни појмови аналитичке психологије и модерне херменеутике, након чега се приступило њиховом међусобном упоређивању. Аналитичка психологија је представљена искључиво на основу дела Карла Густава Јунга, док је модерна херменеутика представљена кроз радове раног Хајдегера, Гадамера и Рикера. Истраживање је показало да се у Јунговом опусу скрива и једна интерпретација аналитичке психологије којом се одбацују поставке материјализма, реализма и идеализма, те се на један другачији начин описују човек и свет. Јаз између субјекта и објекта се релативизује и човеков битак се сагледава као сапостојање са светом. Присутна је сумња у искључиву предност експерименталног метода као средства за стицање некаквог објективног знања. Уместо акумулацији позитивног знања, предност се даје интерпретацији. Многи основни појмови аналитичке психологије задобијају другачији изглед у светлу модерне херменеутике. Кроз интерпретацију израња нераскидива повезаност представе и имагинације са језиком. Психа, архетипови, колективно несвесно и комплекси показују се у светлу предструктуре разумевања, а Ја и Сопство као различити аспекти одговора на питање Ко човековог битка. Однос Сопства и Ја и питање личног идентитета налазе свој израз у наративној структури и самоинтерпретацији, а индивидуација се показује као специфичан начин битка

The subject of the research is a relation between analytical psychology of C. G. Jung and modern hermeneutics. The main goal is the exploration of the possible intersection points and underlining of those aspects of the analytical psychology which are often underestimated and neglected. Also, the goal is the theory and practice of analytical psychology to be described differently, out of the fused horizons of analytical psychology and modern hermeneutics. The main concepts of analytical psychology and modern hermeneutics are exposed at the beginning, and then they are compared. Analytical psychology is introduced exclusively in accordance with the opus of C. G. Jung, and modern hermeneutics is introduced by the work of early Heidegger, Gadamer and Ricoeur. The research has shown that there is hidden interpretation of the analytical psychology which rejects postulates of materialism, realism and idealism in Jung’s opus, and man and his world are described quite differently. The gap between subject and object is relativized and human being has been seen in a coexistence with the world, or being in the world. A suspicion in the exclusive advantage of experimental method, as a tool of acquiring an objective knowledge, is present. Instead of accumulation of a positive knowledge the advantage is given to interpretation. Many basic concepts of analytical psychology gain a different image in the light of modern hermeneutics. The unbreakable connection of the image and language is noticed in the interpretation. Psyche, archetypes, collective unconscious and complexes have shown themselves in the light of pre-structure of understanding, while Ego and Self have shown as the different aspects of the answer to the question Who of the human being. The relation between Ego and Self and a question of personal identity have found their expression in narrative structure and self-interpretation and individuation has shown itself as a specific mode of being.
