Bismi l-Lahi r-Rahmani l-Rahim, alhamdu li l-Lah rabbi l-alamin...
ibn Ahmad, Hasan
The Arabian Peninsula was home to numerous Arabic dialects, sporadically recorded by later medieval Arabic grammarians. Extremely complex heroic poetry was composed from the sixth century AD in an idiom characterized by inflectional endings, which were absent in many dialects. There is still a debate whether inflectional endings disappeared long before Islam or they were lost during the early conquests of Arabs and the massive adoption of Arabic language by foreigners. Year of publishing: 1793.
Godina izdavanja: 1793.
