A 17th century edition of the Walter of Châtillon’s Alexandreis, edited by a monk a poet Athanas Gugger (1608–1669) from the Abbey of Saint Gallen in Switzerland. Walter of Châtillon was a medieval French writer and theologian. He wrote the version of the Alexander romance (in Latin), full of anachronisms and based on Curtius Rufus’ Historia Alexandri Magni, which was very popular and influential in the medieval Europe. Sedamnaestovekovno izdanje epa Gijoma de Šatijona Alexandreis, koje je priredio monah i pesnik Atanas Guger (1608–1669) iz opatije Sankt Galen u Švajcarskoj. Gijom de Šatijon je bio francuski srednjovekovni pisac i teolog. Napisao je verziju Romana o Aleksandru (na latinskom), punu anahronizama i zasnovanu na delu Kurcija Rufa Historia Alexandri Magni, koja je bila veoma popularna i uticajna u srednjovekovnoj Evropi. Godina izdavanja: 1659.
