A critical edition of the Syriac version of the Alexander romance, with an English translation, notes and the copious introduction by an English orientalist E. A. Wallis Budge (1857–1934). The Syriac version of the Alexander romance is made in Late Antiquity and it is one of the oldest. Budge was curator of Egyptian and Assyrian antiquities at the British Museum. He published many works on the ancient Near East, including translations of ancient texts such as the Egyptian Book of the Dead. Year of publishing: 1889

Kritičko izdanje sirijske verzije Aleksandride, sa engleskim prevodom, beleškama i iscrpnim uvodom engleskog orijentaliste E. A. Volisa Badža (1857–1934). Sirijska verzija Aleksandride nastala je u kasnom antičkom periodu i jedna je od najstarijih. Badž je bio kustos u Britanskom muzeju za egipatske i asirske antikvitete. Objavio je dosta dela o drevnom Bliskom Istoku, uključujući prevode drevnih tekstova kao što je egipatska Knjiga mrtvih. Godina izdavanja: 1889.
