A study of the sources of the ancient historians of Alexander the Great, written by a German classical philologist and historian Arthur Fränkel (1852–1923). In this works Fränkel tries to reconstruct the lost sources from the period of Alexander the Great and his successors, analyzing the existing texts of the ancient authors, at the first place that of Arrian, Diodor, Plutarch, and Curtius Rufus. Studija o izvorima antičkih istoričara koji su pisali o Aleksandru Velikom. Studiju je napisao filolog i istoričar Artur Frenkel (1852–1923). U ovim delima Frenkel pokušava da rekonstruiše izgubljene izvore iz perioda Aleksandra Velikog i njegovih naslednika, analizirajući postojeće tekstove antičkih autora, na prvom mestu Arijana, Diodora, Plutarha i Kurcija Rufa.
