An 18th century edition of Jossipon, translated in Latin by a German jurist und hebraist Johann Friedrich Breithaupt (1639–1717). Josippon is the name usually given to a popular chronicle of Jewish history from Adam to the age of Emperor Titus (1st century AD), attributed to an author Josippon or Joseph ben Gorion. The chronicle was probably compiled in Hebrew early in the 10th century, by a Jewish native of south Italy. Although Jossipon was much read and was highly respected as a historical source by the Jews of the Middle Ages, it is in fact full of historical errors. Year of publishing: 1710.

Osamnaestovekovno izdanje Josipona, koje je na latinski preveo nemački pravnik i hebraista Johan Fridrih Brajthaupt (1639–1717). Josipon je ime kojim se obično naziva popularna hronika jevrejske istorije od Adama do vremena cara Tita (1. vek n. e.), koja se pripisuje izvesnom Josiponu ili Josifu ben Gorionu. Hroniku je verovatno na hebrejskom jeziku kompilovao južnoitalijanski Jevrejin početkom 10. veka. Mada su srednjovekovni Jevreji mnogo čitali Josipona i visoko ga cenili kao istorijski izvor, delo je zapravo puno istorijskih grešaka. Godina izdavanja: 1710.
