A doctoral dissertation about use of the pronouns in the Julius Valerius’ history of Alexander the Great, written by Heinrich Stengel (b. 1884). Julius Valerius Alexander Polemius (3rd to 4th century AD) was a translator of the Greek Pseudo-Callisthenes, the romantic history of Alexander the Great, to the Latin Res gestae Alexandri Macedonis. His work is important in connection with the transmission of the Alexander romance in the Middle Ages. Year of publishing: 1909

Doktorska disertacija Hajnriha Štengela (r. 1884) o upotrebi zamenica u istoriji Aleksandra Velikog Julija Valerija. Julije Valerije Aleksander Polemije (3. i 4. vek n. e.) preveo je sa grčkog na latinski Pseudo-Kalistena, romantizovanu istoriju o Aleksandru Velikom (Res gestae Alexandri Macedonis). Njegovo delo je važno u vezi sa pitanjem razvoja legende od antičkih istorija o Aleksandru Velikom do srednjovekovne Aleksandride. Godina izdavanja: 1909.
