A short study of Walter of Châtillon, author of the epic Alexandreis, sive Gesta Alexandri Magni (12th century), written by German philologist Rudolf Peiper (1834–1898). Walter of Châtillon was a medieval French writer and theologian. He wrote the version of the Alexander romance, full of anachronisms and based on Curtius Rufus’ Historia Alexandri Magni, which was very popular and influential in the medieval Europe.

Kratka studija o Gotijeu de Šatijonu, autoru epa Alexandreis, sive Gesta Alexandri Magni (iz 12. veka), koju je napisao nemački filolog Rudolf Pajper (1834-1898). Gotije de Šatijon je bio srednjovekovni francuski pisac i teolog. Napisao je verziju Aleksandride punu anahronizama i zasnovanu na Historia Alexandri Magni Kurcija Rufa, koja je bila jako pupularna i uticajna u srednjovekovnoj Evropi.
