This doctoral dissertation "Literary and Historical Representation of the Institution of Grand Vizier in the Ottoman Empire, Based on the Hadȋkatü'l-Vüzerâ Manuscript from the Gazi Husrev-beg Library" delivers an interpretation of the Ottoman institution of grand vizier through analysis of a piece of writing called The Garden of Viziers penned by an eminent Ottoman poet, historian and scientist, Osmanzade Ahmed Taib, at the beginning of the eighteenth century. This interpretation includes the author's personal stance toward grand viziers on the basis of their origin, personal features, legends preserved about them and other details related to their lives and careers, as well as his personal perception of the institution of grand vizier in general. The author's interpretation and stance reflect the main dynamics that marked the evolution of this institution. The Garden of Viziers is the first piece of Ottoman literature composed in the form of a collection of biographies that deals with grand viziers and that, therefore has a historical content. However, the focus of this dissertation is not an analysis of the historical data provided by The Garden of Viziers, but rather the image of one of the most important constituents of the Ottoman political culture in a literary piece and the author's language tools employed to create this image.

Докторска дисертација „Књижевно историјски приказ институције великог везира у Османском царству на темељу рукописа дела Hadȋkatü'l-Vüzerâ из Гази Хусрев-бегове библиотеке” даје перцепцију османске институције великог везира кроз анализу дела Башта везира произашлог из пера истакнутог османског песника, историчара и научника Османзадеа Ахмеда Таиба почетком XVIII века. Ова перцепција укључује ауторов лични став према појединим везирима на основу њиховог порекла, личних својстава, легенди које су се о њима одржале и других појединости из њихових живота и каријера, као и његово лично поимање институције великог везира уопште. Кроз ту перцепцију и тај став се преламају и главни токови који су обележили развој ове институције. Башта везира је прво дело османске књижевности у форми збирке биографија које се бави великим везирима и оно, дакле, има историјску садржину. Централно место у овом раду, међутим, не заузима анализа историјских података које оно пружа, већ слика једног од најважнијих чинилица османске политичке културе у једном књижевном делу и језичка средства употребљена у сврху израде те слике.
