Предмет овог истраживања је интерпретација ликовног наслеђа помоћу нових медија, као оквир за методе у настави историје уметности и ликовне културе у средњем образовању. Циљ рада је испитивање могућности наставе историје уметности која се мења креирањем метода које поштују контекст у коме се настава одвија. Теоријски циљ је постављање једне савремене методике наставе историје уметности и ликовне културе. Истраживање креће од два теоријска полазишта. Једно је антрополошки приступ слици, у коме се у центар поставља однос слика и посматрача/ученика. Друго је социокултурни приступ настави савремене педагогије, који наставу тумачи зависно од социокултурног контекста у коме се одвија. Као веза та два становишта, поставља се коришћење нових медија као средстава за интерпретацију наслеђа у оквиру савремене визуелне културе у којој ученици активно учествују. Емпиријско истраживање изведено је као праћење и анализа наставне праксе историје уметности у средњој школи „Техноарт Београд“. Оно је изведено методом акционог истраживања, будући да је истраживач уједно и наставник који изводи, испитује, евалуира и мења сопствену наставну праксу, у сарадњи са својим ученицима. Истраживање има два дела: први се односи на метод којим се реконструише епоха средњег века, како помоћу предвиђених наставних тема, тако и помоћу слика које ученици доносе из популарне културе. Други део се односи на интерпретације сликама које ученици стварају новим медијима, као своје интерпретације ликовног наслеђа. Истраживање је показало да је коришћење визуелних медија као средстава интерпретације веома примењиво и да може имати вишеструке функције у настави. Резултати такође показују да се наставним методама креираним у односу на контекст савремене визуелне културе, остварује настава као креативан и активан процес баштињења, а не репродукција знања и вредности. Такоће се показује да тако креирани наставни методи доприносе и измени наставних програма и садржаја.

The topic of this research is an interpretation of the artistic and visual heritage with the help of the new media, as a framework for the methods used in History of art and Fine arts/Visual culture classes in secondary education. The aim is to examine weather the History of art classes, which change with the making of the methods that approve of the context in which the class takes place, would be possible. To establish a contemporary methodology of teaching History of art and Visual Culure is the academic goal. The research starts from two premises. The first one is an anthropological approach to the image and heritage, in whose center the relationship between the picture and the observer/pupil and the process of the heritage revival are established. The sociocultural approach to the teaching of contemporary pedagogy represents the second premise. This approach views teaching as an independent component from the sociocultural context in witch it takes place. As a link between these two standpoints a use of new media is established. This is used as a tool for the interpretation of the heritage within the contemporary visual culture in which the students actively participate. An empirical research was conducted in “Tehnoart Beograd” highschool as a way of tracking and analysing the practice of teaching the History of art. It was derived from an action research method, given that the researcher is withal the teacher who performs, questions, evaluates and changes its own teaching practice in cooperation with her students. The research has two parts: the first part reffers to the method with which the peroid of the Middle Ages is reconstructed, with the help of both premeditated teaching topics and pictures from popular culture that students bring to class. The research has shown that the use of visual media as a mean of inerpretation is quite applicable and can have multiple functions while teaching/learning. The results also show that the clasees, brought about by teaching methods created in the comparison with the context of the contemporary visual culture, do make for a creative and active process of inheritance, rather than a reproduction of knowledge and values. Furthermore, it shows that the teaching methods created in this way contribute to the modification of the curriculum.
