The Quran has many other names. Among those found in the text itself are al-furqan ("discernment" or "criterion"), al-hudah ("the guide"), dikrullah ("the remembrance of God"), al-hikmah ("the wisdom"), and kalamullah ("the word of God"). Another term is al-kitab ("the book"), though it is also used in the Arabic language for other scriptures, such as the Torah and the Gospels. The term mushaf ("written work") is often used to refer to particular Quranic manuscripts but is also used in the Quran to identify earlier revealed books. Year of publishing: 1852.

Kuran ima mnoga imena. Među onima koja se nalaze u samom tekstu jesu al-furkan (razlikovanje ili kriterijum), al-huda (vodič), dikrulah (sećanje na Boga), al-hikma (mudrost) i kalamulah (reč Božja). Još jedan termin jeste al-kitab (knjiga) iako se u arapskom koristi i za druge svete spise kao što su Tora i jevanđelja. Termin mushaf (napisana knjiga) se često koristi za posebne kuranske rukopise, ali se isto tako upotrebljava i u Kuranu da bi se označile starije knjige otkrovenja. Godina izdavanja: 1852.
