The subject of this dissertation is the category of a person in the simple sentences in Russian language compared to the Serbian language .This type of sentences for researching the category of a person has been chosen because it has only been partially studied and so far there has not been a unique and final opinion about it no matter of the actuality of studying its semantic structure in the last few decades. The category of a person has been examined and described in detail in all Slavic languages, but we have still found a few papers dealing with its description in several Slavic languages or in all Slavic languages. According to this we have deemed that the results of our comparison of similarities and especially of differences might be useful for succeeding researchers of this topic as well as for teaching purposes. The category of a person belongs to categories which form the predicative axis of a sentence and are of special importance for research. The basic tasks can be formulated in the following manner:1) studying and description of the category of a person in the simple sentences on the material of Russian and Serbian language; 2) analysis of evolution of view on simple verbal sentences in Russian and Serbian language; 3) ways of expressing the concrete person ( first,second or third) as well as ways of expressing determined personal sentences, indefinite personal sentences, general personal sentences and impersonal sentences; 4) mutual comparing and highlighting characteristics of the simple sentences, especially in regard to differences in the other language...

Предмет ове дисертације је категорија лица у једночланим реченицама у руском језику у поређењу са српским језиком. Овај тип реченица за истраживање категорије лица је одабран управо због тога што је само дјелимично проучен и до сада нема јединственог и коначног мишљења о њему без обзира на актуелност про- учавања његове семантичке структуре у посљедњих неколико деценија. Категорија лица детаљно је обрађена и описана у свим словенским језицима, али смо нашли ипак мало радова који се баве њеним описивањем у више словенских језика или у свим словенским језицима. Због тога смо сматрали да резултати наших упоређења сличности и посебно разлика могу бити корисни наредним истраживачима ове теме као и у наставне сврхе. Категорија лица спада у категорије које формирају предика- тивну осу реченице и имају посебан значај за истраживање. Основни задаци могу се формулисати на сљедећи начин: 1) проучавање и опис категорије лица у једночланим реченицама на материјалу руског и српског језика; 2) анализа еволуције погледа на једночлане глаголске реченице у руском и српском језику; 3) начини изражавања конкретног лица (првог, другог и трећег), као и начини изражавања одређеноличности, неодређеноличности, уопштеноличности и безличности; 4) међусобно упоређивање и истицање карактеристика једночланих глаголских реченица, посебно по основу разлика у другом језику...
