Neki saveti hanefijske pravne škole: Zabranjeno je ili nije poželjno da se jedu neki oblici morske hrane koji nisu riba na osnovu hadisa o Muhamedu: "Dva tipa mrtvog mesa i dva tipa krvi su dozvoljeni zakonom za vašu ishranu [a da tela nisu zaklana]: riba i skakavac, jetra i slezina."(Kažu Ahmed i Ibn Madža). Svaki salah (molitva pet puta dnevno) treba obavljati u određeno vreme, osim u vreme hodočašća. (Neki učenjaci koji ne pripadaju hanefiskoj školi dozvoljavaju pojedincu koji putuje da vreme molitve prilagodava okolnostima koje mu odgovaraju). Abu Hanifa je, na osnovu bukvalnog gledišta (harfija), imao stav da "vino"(khamr, hamr na kuranskom/klasičnom arapskom jeziku), tj. Fermentisani sok od urmi ili grožđa, apsolutno zabranjeno, ali da je dozoljeno piti manje količine drugih neopijajućih alkoholnih pića (npr. napravljenih od meda ili žitarica). Kasniji učenjaci hanefijske pravne škole su imali težnju da zabrane sva alkoholna pića bez obzira na njihovo poreklo. Muslimanu je dozvoljeno da radi na podizanju crkve i to na gradnji ako po hanafijskim merilima prima odgovarajuću platu. Godina izdavanja: 1562.
Some of suggestions given by Hanafi legal school: It is prohibited or dislikedto eat some forms of non-fish seafood based on the hadith of Muhammad : "Two types of dead meat and two types of blood have been made lawful for your consumption [without being slaughtered]: fish and locust, liver and spleen". (Reported by Ahmed and IbnMajah). Except for at Hajj, every salah (5-times daily prayer) needs to be made in its regular time. (Some non-Hanafi scholars allow a person who is travelling to adjust certain prayer times for convenience). Abu Hanifa, taking a literal view (harfiyyah), held that "wine" (Khamr in Quranic/classical Arabic), i.e. the fermented juice of dates or grapes, was absolutely prohibited but it was permissible to drink small non-intoxicating amounts of other alcoholic beverages (e.g. made from honey orgrains). Later Hanafi scholars tend to rule that all alcoholic beverages areprohibited regardless of source. A Muslim is allowed to work in Church construction and building thereof, whose wages considered lawful by Hanafis. Year of publishing: 1562.
