У овом раду критички истражујемо Шелингову мисао о митологији у оквиру његовог филозофског система. Намера нам је да одредимо историјско-филозофски значај његовог учења о митологији и да покажемо у каквој су вези промене у његовим схватањима митологије са променама у његовој филозофији уопште, али и да истражимо саму природу тих промена. Поред тога, анализирамо развој најважнијих појмова унутар Шелингове филозофије и са тим у вези, његове филозофије митологије. Претпоставка за иманентну анализу Шелинговог виђења митологије јесте његов његов поглед на филозофију уопште. У том смислу, истраживање његовог учења о митологији неодвојиво је од сагледавања његове филозофије у целини. Основна интерпретативна хипотеза истраживања јесте да је Шелинг митологију протумачио као лик ума, односно, као нужну фазу у историјском процесу људског освешћења. Другим речима, у питању је рационални карактер митологије, о чему код Шелинга могу да се пронађу релевантни аргументи. У том смислу посебно је значајна његова анализа претходних схватања о митологији са становишта истине. Наша је хипотеза, такође, да Шелингово учење о митологији има велики историјско-филозофски значај и да је по многим својим одликама од велике важности и утицаја и на савремено проучавање митологије, религије и уметности. Главни циљ рада је вредносно критичко преиспитивање Шелинговог учења о митологији и сродних питања религије и уметности. Такође, циљ нам је да испитамо и утврдимо значај који Шелингово схватање митологије има у садашњем времену, нарочито с обзиром на његово гледиште да митологија има умни карактер, али и то, да се на одређени начин може довести у везу са истинитосно вредносним квалификацијама. Истраживању приступамо историјско-филозофски, служећи се херменеутичком и компаративном методом. Поред тога, користимо уобичајени метод прикупљања релевантних података из изворне и секундарне литературе, њихово тумачење и појмовну анализу, етимолошка разматрања, извођење закључака и сл. Излаже се аргументација у прилог становишта о умности митологије, како унутар његовог појмовног оквира, тако и изван њега. У том погледу, настојимо да јасно истакнемо историјско-филозофски значај Шелинговог погледа на митологију. Представљамо основне поставке Шелингове филозофије, како бисмо увидели колико су кохерентне, а потом, колико је његов поглед на митологију кохерентан са тим поставкама. У критичкој анализи Шелинговог учења о митологији обрађујемо, пре свега, његове изворне списе, али и доступне релевантне критичке осврте. Посебан значај за нашу тему су Шелингова рана предавања о филозофији уметности (1802-1804) и позна филозофија митологије...

In this paper we critically research Schelling`s thought on mythology within the framework of his philosophical system. Our intention is to determine the historico-philosophical significance of his teaching on mythology and to show in what relationship are the changes in his understanding of mythology with the changes in his philosophy in general, and also to research the nature of those changes. In addition, we analyze the development of the most important concepts within the Schelling`s philosophy and in a relation to this, his philosophy of mythology. The presumption of an immanent analysis of Schelling`s views of mythology is his view of philosophy in general. In this sense, the research of his teaching on mythology is inseparable from understanding his philosophy as a whole. The main interpretative hypothesis of this research is that Schelling interpreted mythology as the mirror image of the mind, i.e. as the necessary stage in the historical process of human awareness raising. In other words, we are talking about the rational character of mythology, about which relevant arguments can be found in Schelling's writings. In this sense, Schelling's analysis of previous conceptions of mythology from the point of view of truth is particularly important. Our hypothesis is also that Schelling's teaching on mythology has a vast historico-philosophical importance, that it is of crucial importance for, and that it influences contemporary study of mythology, religion and arts. The main goal of this paper is critical reflection upon Schelling's teaching on mythology and related questions in religion and art. Also, our goal is to investigate and establish the importance Schelling's understanding of mythology has nowadays, in particular with respect to his position that mythology has a mindful character, and that, in certain sense, it can be related to truth valued qualifications. Our research is historico-philosophical and uses hermeneutic and comparative method. Moreover, we use the standard method of gathering relevant data from the primary and secondary literature, their interpretation and conceptual analysis, epistemological considerations, deductions etc. The argumentation in favour of mindfulness of mythology, inside Schelling's conceptual framework and beyond is presented. In this respect, we try to clearly mark historico-philosophical importance of Schelling's views on mythology. We present the basic assumptions of Schelling's philosophy in order to test their coherence and, later on, to test in which degree his views on mythology are coherent with respect to these hypotheses. When it comes to critical analysis of Schelling's teaching on mythology, we primarily discuss his original writings, but we also include available critical notes. Schelling's early lectures on philosophy of art (1802-1804) and his late philosophy of mythology are of main importance for our topic...
