Al-Quran
ibn al-Hagg Sulayman Efendi, Ismail
Kuran, sveta knjiga muslimana, doslovno znači glasno recitovanje. Godina izdavanja: 1844.
Al-Qur’ān, the sacred book for Muslims, means literally reciting aloud. It is a book sent by Allah, the God, through revelation of Muhammad, the last prophet of the one and only God. It is considered by Muslims that it hasn’t been created, but it ever exists in Heaven. The holy book is divided into two parts: suras, chapters, revealed by Muhammad while he was in Mecca, and the part of suras, during his life in Medina. In the beginning, Al-Qur’ān was learned by heart and it wasn’t written down until the moment when the number of those persons who knew it by heart started rapidly to decrease. Year of publishing: 1844.
